This kind of cover in Iran has a very old history. The ancient texts, as well as observation of documents, prove that Hijab has a very ancient root in Iran. Hijab is much different for men. Men only need to avoid wearing short trousers in public places and they have no other obstacles to choosing their clothes. But about the women, it is a bit different, and they have to use a special type of Hijab including Chador and scarves. This type of cover is different in some places also for different people. In small and religious cities, Chador and long Manto is much more common.
