Take a look at the Nowruz ceremony in the Qajar period
Tradition, customs, and ceremonies of Nowruz celebration and transition to the new solar year for Iranian and some large parts of Middle and Central Asia have an old inveterate status with thousands of years of oldness which has found a special position in the cultural heritage of the world. Spring moderation has been always a sign of a divine miracle to begin the growth and regeneration of nature.

Traditional ceremonies of Nowruz basically are some kind of thanksgiving to the divine court. Aside from apparent differences which are basically due to the geographical and demographical vastness of Middle and Central Asia, there has been always some kind of approach to unity and cultural unity among people caring for this ancient tradition.
What is certain is that Nowruz ceremonies have been always for all classes of society and people, which could be studied objectively and evidently. But in the past centuries, in the edifices of reign and ruling families holding these ceremonies has always been mysteries and blended with myths.
In this discourse, we discuss Iranian ceremonies related to the transition to the new solar year through the 19th century since Fat'h-Ali Shah Qajar to the 50-year reign of Naser-el-din Shah Qajar looking through walls of reign and curtains of harem into scenes seen and heard about not much.
